Psalm 70
70:1 Be pleased, O God, to deliver me. O LORD, make haste to help me!70:2 Let those be put to shame and confusion who seek my life. Let those be turned back and brought to dishonor who desire to hurt me.
70:3 Let those who say, "Aha, Aha!" turn back because of their shame.
70:4 Let all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation say evermore, "God is great!"
70:5 But I am poor and needy; hasten to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay!
ABUNDANT HEALTH
Gratitude for Your HealthRejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)
Practicing gratitude literally helps you have a brain to be grateful for. The act of writing down your grateful thoughts helps to bring your attention to them to enhance your brain. When you express gratitude on a regular basis, you will be healthier, more optimistic, make more progress toward your goals, have a greater sense of well-being, and be more helpful to others.
